...Agee...
1999-2012

A Memorial Tribute for my girl -

For those of you that knew and loved our border collie, Agee... She passed away this weekend.

She was in pain in the end so it's good that death brought her peace... but it doesn't make it any easier.

There is a hole left ...

she was always there... always faithful... always forgiving...

she had an abounding love... she was so incredibly smart

except when you were fishing and throwing out a line or skipping rocks or playing softball or lighting off fireworks-

she then lost every ounce of brains and went crazy trying to catch all those things.

In the end... she was practically toothless because of this!

We would have lost a year and a half earlier... but with emergency surgery, no price is too much to save those you love- animal or human...

and thank goodness, it was money well spent. Thank you for that extra time... she was still acting like a puppy just a few short days before the end came...

Our loss is great but we have so many great memories and thankfully, I found so many images from over the years to share... I only wish I would have gotten a few more... I keep wishing there was a photo of me hugging her close up.

Austen couldn't have said it better - "RIP Agee. My beloved dog. You have had a full life and I think it was only just for you to pass away in your birthplace, here in Virginia beach,
I will miss you and all your craziness, I remember the memories in Rhode Island, the memories in Washington state, the memories in Italy, and now the last memory I have of you will be here in Virginia beach. 13 years I've known you my whole life, even as far back as I can remember in my life, you were there.
You are and will always be the best dog a boy could have."
