Nicole & Charlie came to Virginia Beach for the first time since we started talking last summer-
to make the final arrangements for their Sandbride beach wedding in May.
After many communications by email & phone -
we met for the first time, on the day of their engagement session that is included with their wedding package-
I think we were all a bit nervous about meeting, understandably so...
It's always good to meet your photographer ahead of time whether it's for a baby or family portrait session and
extremely important when choosing your wedding photographer-
This is the person you are going to spend the most time with beside your other half on one of the most important days of your lives-
but since Nicole & Charlie are traveling RN's living out of state-it was not possible to meet until last month.
It worked out fantastic! Sometimes you just just know you'll get along fine-I had a lot of fun with them!
So when we met- we opted to start off at a local bed & breakfast for their session- at Barclay Cottage-
where the hosts were very gracious and accommodating.
The weather was still chilly in March - so I'm glad we started there- where we got some great photos on their large porch-
Then we headed out to Sandbridge for the rest of their photos- It was a beautiful day but it was freezing by the water -
What troopers, you can't even tell they were frozen solid!
Luckily, I brought a blanket to warm Nicole as Charlie played his guitar for us-
I hear he has quite a voice - although I didn't get the pleasure of experiencing it that day-
Maybe I'll get to hear his crooning at the wedding...
You two are a gorgeous couple very much in love-
Thank you for choosing me to capture your story of such an important day.
I am looking forward to being witness to your marriage.
